Thank you for your contribution to the Steam page. Could you please specify which bashisms the script has? Although I personally don't use dash, I couldn't find any bashisms with dev-util/checkbashisms. I would like to contact the script author to have have any bashisms fixed upstream. --BT (talk) 03:46, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
- Not entirely sure what the root cause was, but `$LAUNCHSTEAMDIR` was consistently ending up blank under dash, and switching to bash was what eventually fixed it. I can't see anything wrong with the script either, but then dash has some "interesting" interpretations of POSIX sometimes. Ant P. (talk) 04:11, 1 June 2015 (UTC)
