From SPI:
Gentoo would probably qualify for be a SPI associated project but we need write to the board members, specifying what we want to do about reimbursements, domain ownership, trademark? etc.
I think SPI will need to check if for a project big as Gentoo is actually possible to be managed with the SPI current resource.
