Suggest to expand topic for Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese

writing japanese is little bit simple than any other north-east asian characters, but i think that there is someone who wants to know how to write Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese with Japanese(to help explaining meaning of some kind of word) in Gentoo Linux. Japanese also contains Chinese characters(but it's partially different from any other chinese characters using in Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/Korean/Vietnamese) and there are so many different way to input CJKV characters. in my case, I know how to input Japanese and Korean, but I do not know about Chinese and Vietnamese.

I think that we can prove excellence of UTF-8 in here by document, because each language had unique encoding so each language hasn't show together by one encoding many years ago. expanding this document to make "How to read and write in CJKV language" would be better.

Is there a particular reason Ibus is preferred over SCIM?

Talk status
This discussion is still ongoing.

The page mentions that ibus is preferred over SCIM, but doesn't state why. Additionally, the page for SCIM on this wiki redirects to Wikipedia's page, preventing one from creating the page. app-i18n/scim is still in the tree and works, and is maintained by the CJK project; its latest stable release is from July 2017.
