Blu-ray & HDMI Market

Blu-ray == headache
HDMI; less cabling or conductive surface == less quality.

Best method for playing back audio files through a stereo receiver is to store the PCM WAV files on an external hard drive or USB drive, and allow the audio receiver to play via USB/Firewire. ;-) --Roger (talk) 23:47, 14 June 2017 (UTC)

Another method I've used most frequently in the past; is streaming PCM WAV files via S/PDIF cable to the stereo receiver, or any audio/video streaming from my computer. I tend to use HDMI for Roku devices and/or Blu-ray Movies. But if I had more S/PDIF ports offering adequate bandwidth, I'd likely utilize those S/PDIF ports instead of HDMI. --Roger (talk) 23:52, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
