Titling something Autotools implies we're talking about Autoconf & Automake. (ie. Autotools, No Starch Press, ISBN: 978-1-59327-206-7)
As such, should probably rename this article from "Autotools" to "(Gentoo) Autotools Eclass/Ebuild" or similar?
I'm thinking, an entire section should be devoted to "Gentoo Ebuild Eclasses", with autotools and other eclasses being members. This method would definitely prevent any misinterpretations!
But anybody typing anything on the mystic autotools deserves congrats anyways. Signed: Roger 17:14, 15 November 2011 (UTC)
- The article is mostly intended to cover more aspects of autotools. I was thinking of adding some guides or at least best practices here but didn't have an inspiration for it yet. -- Michał Górny 08:27, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
