Comment by dilfridge about asking a3li

Ask A3li, maybe there's a way to access a dev's project membership list from within the wiki. Though someone might not want to mentor for all the topics s/he works on... Dilfridge (talk) 21:05, 14 November 2016 (UTC)

I for one would like it if the table of mentors was a table rather than a series of infoboxes.

Information is most usable when it is formatted in a tidy, easy to read manner. Unfortunately I don't know yet how to do tables in wiki...but I think that a table with the columns:

  • Name
  • Nickname
  • Email
  • Timezone
  • is active
  • Projects

Or at the very least, have all the mentor infoboxes organized and sorted in a list, sorted by nickname and possibly sectioned alphabetically

post by neddy, and some responses

Should this project maintain a list of available mentors, their IRC times of availability and areas of expertise? Potential mentees can then use it to narrow down who to approach. --NeddySeagoon (talk) 23:56, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Interesting idea. I like it. My only fear is that it is going to be such a big hassle to keep the list up-to-date. --Gokturk (talk) 20:44, 14 November 2016 (UTC)
