Some of the assumptions in this article are not true if the user uses suspend-to-disk (hibernate). Because if the user instead of resuming the suspended operating system decides to boot the other system, some problems may arise:
- Partitions which were/are going to be mounted read-write may become corrupted (so share /boot only if usually not mounted / mounted read-only)
- The swap partition will still be in use (for the suspend image)
