This really needs the "Architecture specific configuration" section from PPC, except with "make pmac32_defconfig" changed to "make g5_defconfig".
Also, genkernel is broken on PPC64 and requires --kernel-config=/usr/src/linux/.config to be specified. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Downsj (talk • contribs)
